There are many different forms of painting. I have been drawn to watercolors as I have begun to hand color my prints. But other mediums are still a part of my palette as they are described here.

A World Built on Imagination
Indirect Painting Still life that was taken form the grouping shown at the right. I did an under painting of burnt sienna and white to immolate the Masters of the past. Oil paint was then thinned to make a glaze like translucent effect and built up over the under painting. A color scheme was chosen and the glazes layered to get the right intensity of the hue was desired. $54.
Vessels of Life
Direct Painting Achieved by setting up a cluster of related items set in a shallow space. The oil paint hues were mixed directly on the canvas...Mostly. $126.
Signs of Progress
At the implosion of Three Rivers stadium the cloud of dust moved over Pittsburgh’s sky line. Hopson snaped this shot with her camera finding it more interesting than the pile of concrete and steel rubble. $72.
Disco Ball was an image from Hopson's dream world. A project in 2-D to capture color so many possibilities that one night the slide show began and I thought I better get this down on paper at least enough to get back to sleep. 26 hours later I had 9 or 10 images in which none were finished but was enough that I could get back to sleep. This is but one of the designs. $85.
