Intagilio Printing Processes include: etching, aquatint, dry point, mezzotint, and engraving.
Lines are etched or scratched into a plate with a sharp tool. Ink is then forced into the lines and the plate is wiped clean, leaving the ink in the lines. Paper is then placed on the plate and both are run thru a press to emboss the remaining ink on to the paper.
Fine Art Prints
Printing is the transfer of an image from one surface to another, such as from an inked plate to paper. It is a time consuming and intense art form combining aesthetic and creative skills with technical expertise.
Fine art prints, regardless of how many are in an edition, eacn one, is as closely similar as the original, however it is not a reproduction.
All of my Artist proofs are hand colored for the added enjoyment of having a painting, combined with a print.

Mono printing allows such freedom on creating many effects and images. I explored this method of printing when i first began printmaking. The quickness that they must be produced makes spontaneous results.
Printing with three Masters you have to work hard to get them registered right in order to complete an edition. Anyone that has worked with multiple Masters to the same image knows that it can be SHEER MADDNESS $32.
Designing a stamp was the first project in lino cuts. When all your fingers are bandaged you learn a lot in what not to do Then you have to have excellent registration of the ink to avoid "orange peel" ... Getting an edition was a challenge to be sure.
