Pottery Bowls and Trays
This page was last updated: March 5, 2007
This is a lot of new pieces here and they are being taken into folk's home/offices quickly. Pottery is truly an art form that "SO FAR" continues to pay for its keep in the world that Judith built. I often say when you have a child that is 35 years old it is time that they start paying for their keep. Heck getting paid for something I would be doing anyway does help.
Most of the clay bodies I have used have been Stoneware, Raku and Porcelain. Clay is like human personalities. Each one has its advantages as well as quirks. Peter Voulkos once said "Clay moves, and you got to learn the dance." Learning the dance is a wonderful adventure, which never ends.
A lot of my pieces come from my dream world. In my sleep I dream of the way to create a piece then upon waking I go straight to my canvas covered oak board and make it. It helps to know where many of the potholes are.

I KNOW WHAT YOUR ASKING YOURSELF. WHAT SIZES ARE THE POTS?
I will admit getting the sizes for every thing that comes out of a kiln is hard to do. I have not found a way to be that disiplined. Any ideas?  Write me at this e-mail address: Hopson_Judy@hotmail.com
Please use the code number under the piece on the lower right side. I will send you all the important information (sizes, price, etc) They sale pretty fast so if you see something write so it will not go to the show for a couple of weeks.
