Cone Cups is some more of my dream pottery. I made these in a dream... woke up and made them with my eyes open. Pretty cool stuff. $10. each
Naked Blueberries Tea Set and Tea Canister
Now You have seen a naked blueberry.*giggles* Creating the unique pottery is wonderful when people have to see, hold and touch them and simply must adopt them and take them home.
Elephant Tea Pot
As you can see from green ware to finished product this elephant had a break here and there. Well "Duke" said make it look like it was done on purpose. That night I dreamed how to fix it and here it is finished. Even broken children need love, mayhaps more sometimes.
Intercollegiate competition First place award winner. I dreamed this pottery as well. I made 4 or 5 sets that looked similar but getting the bags to look like cloth you can see the evolution in the other cloth bags and bowls that I have done.
This is how they evolved-->
The Naked Female Mug and Tea Set $150.
The body was very light and weighted as much as the handle coil used. I made these mugs for the patrons that had admired the Big Ass Tree Pots entered into the Intercollegiate competition in the year 2003. Mugs $15. each
Coiled Tea Pot
Same design as the Elephant tea pot but I used coils instead.
Hand-built
New!!! Wheel Thrown
When you entertain your bridge club or Sunday brunch it is always nice to present the beverage of choice with a unique Pitcher and cup set. I see the tea set as a wonderful expression of the individual’s style. Most of my tea sets are hand-built for the sake of exactness in portioned size of cups to pitcher. I like being able to have more of a personal relationship with the tea sets while making them because it seems to add to the uniqueness. I know when the right person finds that the sets fits their style and personality perfectly or knows someone that it would make the wonderful gift for. There are not a lot of copies to my tea sets but there is a lot of special uniqueness that makes them all collector items.
